I spend two to four hours a day reading financial blogs, various online newspapers, real estate and legal blogs and I’m very concerned that we’re not getting the reforms necessary to fix the economy because the lobbies (one of which I am a card-carrying member – NAR) block all efforts in various, continuous ways. They will not allow change, period, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. That these corporations/lobbies have hijacked our government, has become so obvious to me while I observe the actions of President Obama overlayed on my memory of Obama’s promises delivered during his presidential election campaign. It’s time for We The People to get into action. I don’t mean to hit the streets (although, I’m not against it). For one tiny step toward creating democracy in America, I’ve decided to post this on my blog. This tiny step is about having a conversation about democracy. Maybe just the fact that 150,000,000+ Americans can actually have this conversation real time via the internets will bring about profound change. One Can Hope.
